Overview

Cervion Systems provides Point of Sale systems and related technology to restaurants on a subscription basis. Our business model is considered a Value Added Reseller. We provide turnkey solutions consisting of hardware and software created by our vendor partners bundled with our services. Our Headquarters is located in Tarrytown, NY with additional offices in Philadelphia and Southeast Florida.

Our Sales Team utilizes a consultative sales model to determine our prospective customer's needs, present our solutions and close the sale. We are highly focused on customer service. We measure our success not only on new customer acquisition, but also on our ability to retain those customers for 3, 5 or 10+ years. We consider ourselves honored to have some customers for 20+ years.

The Marketing Manager creates, manages & executes marketing activities that generate new sales opportunities and further qualify existing opportunities. In addition, this position also manages marketing activities to our existing customers. Candidates for this position should possess demonstrated success in a B2B marketing environment and familiarity with restaurant operations.

 

Essential Functions of the Position: 

Competencies & Certifications: 

  • Strong ability to communicate the marketing vision and direction of the Company
  • Excellent knowledge of Demand Generation techniques and strategy
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong ability to create and deliver content for marketing and sales purposes
  • Strong ability to conduct daily operation with very little direction (self-motivated)
  • Expert technical knowledge of restaurant management and operations
  • Strong ability to create, track, and forecast marketing metrics
  • Expert ability to execute B2B marketing processes and techniques such as Marketing Automation
  • Strong ability to lead by example and drive Company culture throughout the organization
  • Excellent knowledge of Hubspot CRM & CMS or suitable equivalent (ex. Salesforce & Pardot)
  • Excellent knowledge and ability to work with graphic and video software included in the Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
  • Management of company social media channels including YouTube, Linked In, Facebook and Instagram
  • Strong ability to represent the Company in various public facing capacities
  • Some coding experience preferred but not required (HTML5, CSS) for website management 

Work Location / Times / Travel: 

  • Works out of the NY office and remotely, as needed 
  • Office Hours and after-hours as needed
  • Occasional overnight travel to Customer and other office locations, as needed (est. 20%)
  • Overnight travel to industry training and events as scheduled 
Physical Requirements: 
  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 40 Lbs. 
  • Ability to operate a vehicle for travel between Company territories 

Other requirements 

  • Valid and clean Driver’s License 
  • Maintain reliable personal auto for work travel as needed. 

Education & Experience: 

  • 4 years degree or equivalent experience 
  • 2+ years marketing supervisory or management experience
