Cervion Systems is a fast-growing provider of Merchant Processing & Point of Sale computer systems primarily for restaurants. We are a team-oriented company focused on providing excellent service to our customers.

We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Director with proven sales, communication, and analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have experience building and managing a quota-carrying sales team, and must have experience selling to restaurants.

Job Functions & Competencies:

  • Build and manage a performing quota-carrying Sales Team; must have the ability to recruit, hire, and develop salespeople.
  • Strong ability to communicate the vision and direction of the Company.
  • Strong ability to create, track, and forecast sales metrics.
  • Expert knowledge of sales processes and techniques, and conduct sales meetings and training workshops with the team.
  • Strong ability to lead by example and drive the culture throughout the organization.
  • Complete management duties including approving expense reports, tracking team schedules and activities, and managing the sales pipeline to ensure we hit our sales goals.
  • Expert technical knowledge of primary POS Products (EdgeServ & Genius) and Sales Department-issued software and systems (Microsoft 365, Hubspot, Netsuite).
  • Strong knowledge of Payment Systems & Security.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Installation and Support teams to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction.
  • Expert negotiation & problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of restaurant operations and restaurant management.
  • Strong ability to represent the Company in various public-facing capacities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong ability to develop and deliver content for marketing and sales purposes.

Work Location / Times / Travel:

  • Works out of Cervion’s Office and remotely, as needed.
  • Office Hours and after-hours, as needed.
  • Day and occasional overnight travel to customers and other office locations, as needed (est. 40%).
  • Overnight travel to industry training and events as scheduled.

Education and Experience:

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of sales supervisory or management experience.
  • Candidate MUST have experience leading a team that sells to restaurants.

Physical and Other Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 20 lbs for sales demo purposes to customer locations.
  • Ability to operate a vehicle for travel between company territories.
  • Valid and clean drivers license.
  • Maintain a reliable personal auto for work travel as needed. Mileage and expense reimbursement per company policy.
