The Beginning: A Vision for Smarter Restaurant Technology
More than 25 years ago, our company president and founder, Hunter Allen, sought to apply his passion for intricate problem solving and systems management in one of the most dynamic and challenging environments the business world has to offer: the restaurant industry.
His journey in the restaurant industry began as a waiter, then high-volume restaurant operations manager, transitioning into a Project Manager Role for a regional POS dealer. With plenty of experience, launched POS2GO, where his first projects included large scale POS deployments at The Atlanta Olympics and US Open, establishing a reputation for reliability and innovation.
A New Era: Cervion Systems is Born
To reflect its expanding services, the company rebranded from POS2GO to Cervion Systems. This shift marked a commitment to not only providing POS technology but also long-term service, support, and strategic growth solutions for restaurants.
In the same year, Cervion introduced POS as a Service, offering restaurants an affordable, predictable payment structure with continuous support. This game-changing model allowed restaurant owners to focus on growth while having state-of-the-art technology at their fingertips.
